Every domestic and international shipment leaving our atelier is insured for 100% of its full invoice value under an "All-Risk" Marine/Inland Cargo Policy. This policy protects your idol against:

2. Recommended Unboxing & Receiving Protocol

To ensure insurance protection remains 100% valid, we request clients to follow these simple unboxing steps upon arrival:

Step 1: Outer Crate Inspection Before Signing

Inspect the exterior wooden crate upon delivery. If you observe any obvious exterior breakage, crushing, or missing straps, note "Delivered with outer crate damaged" on the courier Proof of Delivery (POD) receipt.

Step 2: Unboxing Video Recording

Record a continuous, unedited video on your mobile phone starting from inspecting the sealed outer wooden crate, unscrewing the top/side timber panels, peeling the bubble wrap, to unveiling the sacred moorti.

Step 3: Immediate Notification Within 48 Hours

In the rare event of transit damage, notify our dedicated support desk within 48 hours of delivery by emailing photos, video, and your docket number to niketanexport@gmail.com or via WhatsApp to +91 9549060381.

Our Unconditional Resolution Commitment

Once a transit damage claim is verified, Niketan Export guarantees complete patron peace of mind through either:

Priority Replacement: Our master sculptors will carve an exact new replacement idol on priority and ship it free of charge.
Professional Local Restoration: If minor superficial chipping occurred, we will fund an authorized stone conservation specialist to restore the moorti locally.

4. Safe Uncrating Tips

Use an electric drill/screwdriver to remove the wood screws holding the top and front panels rather than striking the crate with a heavy hammer.
Do not lift the marble idol by its delicate arms, crown (mukut), or sacred attributes. Always support the idol from its solid base (asan/peetham).
For heavy statues (over 100 kg), utilize at least 3-4 capable adults or a mechanical lifting strap.
