Sprawling over an expansive 6,000+ square yards in the urban artisan cluster of Jaipur, the manufacturing facility of Niketan Export is one of North India’s most comprehensive centers for stone sculpture and temple architecture.
Our workshop seamlessly divides into specialized operating sections: raw block inspection yard, heavy bridge cutting, traditional hand-carving bays, facial expression detailing studio, 24K gold ornamentation room, ultrasonic flaw testing, and an export crating yard.
We maintain direct quarry connections in Makrana, Rajasthan, procuring the finest Grade-1 pure white marble blocks noted for their fine crystal grains, superior density, and natural luster.
Generations of Jaipur craftsmen carving sacred idols by hand.
From a rugged mountain boulder to a consecrated temple moorti, explore how devotion and technique intertwine at every stage.
Our CEO and master carvers personally inspect virgin marble blocks in the quarry. Ultrasonic checks ensure zero hidden internal micro-fissures or mineral veins in sacred facial areas.
High-precision diamond gang-saws square the block to the exact proportions required by the deity's sacred height and depth, leaving ample stone for deep 3D undercut relief.
Traditional grid lines (sutra) are drawn across the stone in conformity with Shilpa Shastra measurements. Master sculptors chisel away waste stone to establish posture and mudras.
Senior artists meticulously sculpt sacred ornaments, flowing drapery, crowns (mukut), sacred weapons, and above all, serene divine expressions (shanta bhava) into the deity's eyes and lips.
The moorti undergoes successive polishing with increasingly fine silicon carbide and diamond buffing pads. We use pure water without artificial chemicals, yielding a silky, natural mirror gloss.
Fine miniature brush artists apply genuine 24-karat gold leaf (Vark) to the crowns, borders, and jewelry. Waterproof natural mineral pigments enhance facial features and sacred tilaks.
After receiving client approval via 4K video inspection, the idol is vacuum-sealed with moisture barriers, encapsulated in dense EPE foam, and secured inside a heat-treated fumigated wooden export crate.
